Big drop in hot and cold water pressure
We have a two storey house and both hot and cold presuures have dropped badly just over this summer. I've tried by-passing the softener but that made no difference. The incoming cold tap is OK but not quite as good as before, but the upstairs taps and shower are very poor.

It is a sealed system combi boiler and no loft tank. I can only get 1 bar into the central heating system whereas it used to rush up to 1.5 or 2 bar when I opened the two valves. I have the water company coming next week but my local plumber says they may have dropped the pressure due to new house building, and that they are only obliged to deliver 1 bar.

    Any ideas !
