No IF you have a 18-19 year old they are past the age. Do you have a way of finding out or is this just a guess that you want to check into?

You need to contact the mother first, especially if she is under 18. She may tell you she is not your daughter if she doesn't want her to meet you.

If the one-night-stand was indeed 19 years ago, it's unlikely that the child would be under 18.

And if she is 18? Or she does say she isn't mine? I would want to know if she is mine or not. I would have been there for her

Dates are either she is 17 now or 18 so 9 months prior would have been the one night stand

Do you remember the exact month and year? If her birthday is 9 months later then it could be a good chance. I'd find out her birthday and try to estimate first

Legally, I don't think there is anything you can do. There would be no child support or custodial issues; the only thing I can think of would be inheritance issues in case either you or the child were to die. The survivor (father or daughter) could probably demand a DNA test at that time, but until then, I don't see any right to go to court.
So ask the mother nicely.
