You better get it out before running the dishwasher. Slide it out and look under it where the hoses are located and use a magnet to get the screw. You mat even be able to remove the cover where it fell into the drain and use a magnet to retrieve it. Unless you get it it will cause a lot of damage to your dishwasher. I took the door panel out. When the latch cables came in contact with the top tray the unit started working. Now, It's back to the cancel/drain light blinking and the other controls don't work. Tried different reset sequences and they don't work. Sears want's $129 just to come and take a look....
The dishwasher runs through its cycle but will not drain when finished.
Kenmore 665.17052400 won't drain after washing. Suspect there is a clog in the drain, inside of the dish washer. Question is; what is the procedure for removing the upper wash and rinse parts so that the drain can be examined?
