    1995 ford explorer
    Hi I have a 95 ford explorer limited I put a trans in it and took it on a long road trip when I was almost at the place I was going to I was at 60 mphs and let off the gas then heard a loud sound like something was spining and not catching what could it be

I have a 95 ford explorer and it shifts pretty hard whether in reverse or drive doesn't matter. My husband just fixed the u joints and that took care of the rumbling it was doing. The check engine light does come on and my husband has hooked it up to a scanner but there is no diagnostic results....
