    96 Sporty 1200
Just picked up a 96 Sporty 1200 and noticed that at low speeds (putting around town) it spits and sputters. Put new gas, did the oil, oil filter and plugs. Still the same thing. Found the idle cable was broken, replace that. Runs much better but still has the little putting/chugging problem at slow speed. It was real cold blooded but now just tap the starter button and its running. I guess it sat for 2 or 3 years in a heated work shop. Something simple or do I need to rebuild the carb?
