    Mitsubishi Projection TV clicks on/off
I have a Mitsubishi Projection TV. It is about 10 yrs old but bearly has any hours on it. I think the model is VS5044. (by looking at the diagram in the owners manual). When I turn the TV on with the remote or on the control panel, I hear it "click" on, the green power light comes on, then it "clicks" off.

I tried turning the set off completely, unplugging it to try and reset it, took the batteries out and of the remote and replaced them (dumb, I know). It is almost like the sleep mode is on and it is immediately turning itself off.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Sounds like you have a power supply problem, could be bad capacitors in the supply section. You will more than likely need a pro.

    Good Luck,
