What do you use when replacing septic tile?
We have had our tank cleaned and now know we have a blockage probably by roots. When we dug the line up coming out of the tank, we have Orangeburg pipe. When replacing it, what type of pipe can I use? Can I use field tile or perforated?

replace the Orangeburg with PVC. You may use either terra-cotta drainage tile or perforated PVC. In my area we stopped using terra-cotta tile years ago and went with PVC. Good luck, Tom

If you are going to replace all the piping, consider the "Infiltrator" chamber system.

Replacing shower tile [ 7 Answers ]

Hi -- My shower is tiled top to bottom. The color/design/pattern is pretty outdated, so I'd like to take it all down and replace it. Big question -- if I pull the tile off and the cement board behind it looks pretty good, can I just smooth it and tile over it? Or do I have to replace the cement...

Replacing Ceramic Tile [ 1 Answers ]

I had someone put in a ceramic tile floor for me and did a terrible job (home improvement contractor scammed me). I now have to take it up and redo it.
