    American Standard Air Leak
Have an American Standard Toilet model#4392 that appears to be leaking air from the fill area. Not sure how to fix this. I have adjusted the 2 different screws (one yellow plastic, one metal). I can adjust them both enough to make the air stop, but the water level is too low if I adjust the yellow too far, and the water does not fill if I adjust the metal screw enough to stop the leak.

American Standard Stem [ 1 Answers ]

I took my American Standard Stem in to the Home Depot. They compared to to others and said that it was a 2C-14C. Then they gave me replacement Nu-Seal washers and said that there is no seat for this. Is that possible? Here it is with the new washer attached.
