    My laptop shut down randomly.
My laptop shut down randomly. Then it would not turn back on for almost a week after plugging it in and even changing the battery. I figured it overheated and was done. Then I tried turning it on after 3 months and it started. What could have caused this?

Thermal shutdown can cause a whole bunch of issues.

Best to pull the battery and give it a good blow out with tinned air to remove all the dust bunnies.
