    If employer pays to help with relocation is the money taxable on pay check
    If an empolyer pays you $500 to assist with relocation is that amount taxable?

    Were you paid or reimbursed? Listed as bonus or something else? I know what it was for, but how was it entered in books?

    The employee will be paid. Have not posted yet. The amount will go on employees pay check. Looking for proper way to post.

    If it is a flat amount with no requirement of proof of any moving expense, then it is considered to be subject to federal and state income taxes, but NOT FICA (Social Security and Medicare) taxes.
