    Craftsman riding mower pto
    When I pull pto to start mower blades engine stalls blades belts pullys can be turned by hand freely

    Well, something is obviously putting torque on the system. Look for a seized or dry bearing.

    Hi,
    A bad seat switch will shut off the ignition, also.
