Something wrong with my dog
My dog is 9 months old. She was fine this morning playing and running around the house, suddenly she let out a yelp. The rest of the day and still tonight she is laying around. She won't eat, she hides and cowers down around the floor as if something is hurt, yet when I move her legs or feet and touch her she don't mind it and she is shaking like she is cold. She jumped on the bed today and into the chair I was sitting in so its not her legs or hips.

Too many possible reasons. Is she up to date on all shots? What kind of dog? Many dogs can get a twisted bowel, a serious condition. Dogs have a very short intestinal tract.
Shaking is a sign of pain. Examine her head to toe, feeling with gentle pressure and peering between toes, at gums, in eyes and ears, under legs, etc. Call the vet first thing this morning. |
