    Needle puncture
    Stepped back while sitting attempting to get up when sharp very bad pain was felt needle had broken in heel I didn't get it romoved and the area round it is black

    You stepped on a needle? What kind of needle? Sewing needle, hypodermic needle? Why did you not have it removed?

    You have an infection. You need to go to the ER immediately.
