    Craftsman Lawn Tractor Troubleshoot
    Old model Craftsman Kohler Command 15hp OHV Model #91725645

    I believe that there is a problem with the safety devise under the seat that kills the engine if you get off the tractor is not properly working. I can't get the ignition to work. It looks like it plugs into a receptacle from the frame up to the bottom of the seat but there may be a small wire missing. I need to know what a properly installed part looks like. I have plugged it in and sat on the seat pushed the clutch/ break in and the gear is in neutral and blade is disengaged. Must be the seat device.

    Jumper the seat switch and see if it starts.

    Hi, Cannot recommend wiring around any safety device. I do have your manual for you:
