    Hot water trickle at shower
Hot water at master bedroom shower was always slow since we bought the house but is now just a trickle. Cold water and all other hot water faucets are fine. I have an older house with plumbing that is behind walls, so instead of cutting walls do you think I should cut the pipe in the basement and try to back flush it to see if it is just clogged with rust or something?

No, I think you should turn off the water, remove the hot water stem from the faucet. Then turn on the water briefly (about 5 seconds) and flush out what ever is blocking the hot water side of the faucet. Then reinstall the hot water stem.

Hot Water at Bath Tub Just a Trickle [ 2 Answers ]

Recently I've had a drop in the volume of hot water that is coming through my system. It is a problem on every faucet in the house. The cold water pressure is GREAT. The house is 7 years old, and I believe that it has copper tubing throughout. I've been digging around for solutions to this for...

Hot water pressure reduces to a trickle [ 1 Answers ]

When I turn on the hot water in my shower, the pressure drops and trickles out of the shower head. It only seems to be the hot side which leads me to believe that there might be an issue with the water heater. I think it drops in the bathroom sink as well but not the kitchen sink. The water...
