    Endometriosis
Hi, I am 40 years old. My periods are generally regular.Suddenly, I didn't get it for two whole months. Without considering menopause, I went to a gyneo. She gave me regestrone. Then I got my periods. But this time when I went on a vacation, my stress levelwas very extreme due to personal problems and my periods took a turn for the worse. They are very very heavy and I have to change tampons within 2 hours. This is going on for two months.I went to a gyneo again. I have taken tranexamic tablets and got an ultrasound done. Thankfully, no fibroids. But cysts are present in my ovaries. Doc said that cysts are not to be worried about. But now, my periods are reducing but when I start working and moving about, they become very heavy and I bleed out big clots of blood. I am experiencing sharp abdominal and rectal pain at sudden times. How do I get my periods to stop completely? How do I get to reduce my pain? Is this all the side effects of taking regestrone?

I am not reading that the side effects last for a lengthy period.

You need to see your Physician again in order to get relief from these symptoms. My experience was heavy bleeding, pain, the Doctors kept treating - and then one day I hemorrhaged and had an emergency hysterectomy. I was very fortunate - it could have been disastrous.

You need medical intervention for your overall health.
