    Crafstman 42" Mower won't run when blades are engaged
    When blades are engaged, the mower will move about 5 ft and start to miss/run rough/cout off. I had checked that the blades and pulleys turn freely and that nothing is dragging against belt.

    Hi,
    My guess is a bare wire somewhere shorting the ignition.

Just purchased a brand new craftsman 27hp 50" zero turn. Cut a 50 yard swatch when the engine choked. After finally restarting, the engine stalls and quits whenever the drive levers are moved out of start/park or when the blades engaged. Help :mad:
