I'm 58 yr old mom and grandma, my 40 yr old son hit me. Why?
I recently told my son the money is all gone. I can't help anymore. That was 2 weeks ago, haven't heard from him. A little time before, he hit me. What could make him do that?

Why does any family member hit another one? I'm puzzled that you would think we could possibly run through all 500 million possible reasons, or that you have no idea why yourself. He's your son. 'The money' - your money? His money? Your husband's?
Money is certainly at the top of many a list of reasons.

The reasons don't matter, the facts that he hit you is unnaceptable. TOTALLY unaccepable.

It is a SON hitting his mother that is incomprehensible; she is probably in shock trying to grasp why. Perhaps has no one else to ask. If it were me, I would be upset and dumbfounded.
You are puzzled joy? So is she obviously.

If you don't know, why do you believe a stranger would know.
So what happened after you called the police, do they have a warrant out for him ?
