I am having water backing up in all drainage points in my home. The lift pump well will fill up with water, to the point of overflow well past the floats, but I have to turn on pump using the pump check switch. This depresses the breaker and when the pump is through with the discharge the breaker pops back out. Water can still be seen in the home drainage when the well is empty. It appears that there may be two issues: 1) There is a blockage somewhere between the well and the split under the home; and, 2) The pump float system is not engaging.

I believe that if the water appears to be blocked somewhere in the digress pipe there is no explanation as to how the pump well is filling up (A trickle is not even visible coming from the sewage pipe to the well). Also, the pump does turn on when in test mode so how do I check the float system?
