Hello,

I am male, 20 and I work as a chef in an isolated area, where there are no mobile signals until you reach town,

Recently a chef, female - 21 has started work with me due to another one quitting, however she isn't starting to work as a chef straight away and is working on the bar until restaurant gets busy.

She still works in hotel though and waits on tables as I plate up food. I have deeply fallen in love with her, she laughs at my jokes and we go for walks on the odd occasion on the odd night (I've only worked with her for about 10 days now),

Anyway she is foreign and has gone home for 3 weeks which means this isn't doing my feelings any good as I already miss her although she only left 2 days ago.

I knew her before she came to work here as I had seen her around and was introduced to her.

When we go for walks, I ask her about family, and basically work life, we get on quite well, I always see her looking at me, sometimes she doesn't, most times does, I want to tell her how I feel but just don't have any confidence whatsoever with women at all.

What should I do? And what are the signs that a woman really likes a guy?

I have also said to her a few nights ago before she left, that I really like her and that I'll miss her and she said "I like you too" but I think she only thought I meant as friends.

I have never felt like this about anyone as I've really only had about 2 relationships as I just don't stop working.

Please Help.

I also went out with her again for a walk a couple of nights after ^^, and I said " you're going away for 3 weeks, I can't believe it" and she said " ohh come on, you've only worked with me for 10 days and I'll be back" and I said nervously "yes well im gonna miss you" and then we changed subject.

Well, that's a tough situation!! Anyway I'm having the same problem.so... anyway if she is the type of girl who is nice and you know well you should build up your courage and tell her how you feel. But it sounds like she already knows how you feel but tell her anyway. Girls like to feel like they're special and know that someone cares :p

What culture is she from ? You said she is foreign? If so , how long in your country.
As for as that goes, what country are you in?

For example here in China, a couple just talks and are friends for perhaps a few months, and then they will just start dating quietly, spending time together , then start dating officially, going places as a couple, it can take 6 months or more to get to that stage.

But if you like her and have feelings for her, then you tell her, and hope for the best.
Love is that way, you have to take a risk, no risk, no gain

She's from Czech, Im English, they probably do things differently over their I don't know.

Relax and enjoy your time together and see what happens. It may blossom into more than friends,and it may not.

Basically if she accepts a date invitation she probably likes you. How much is for you to find out.
