    Renovating 1940's bath room.
I've removed sections of ceramic shower wall tile with multi tool and rotrary hammer.(top coarse around tub and section around plumbing fixtures) surface of thick set has rough spots and a couple chunks broke out no lath showing. What should I do to prepare surface to accept replacement tile?
