    Salaried Employee Rules
    Someone told me that even if you are salaried employee there was a law that protects you from being overworked. Is this true? I thought that when I signed up for a job that was FT salary things I was going to be able to go in do my work and go home with hardly any stress, until the work load keeps increasing as every month with no signs of relief. Good for business but not good for company moral. Every one is stressed to the max and not enough time in the day to get everything done. I really like where I work and cannot fathom the fact of having to find another job and have to build relationships all over again and rather stay where I am at. Any pick me upper advise?

    No there are no laws about this. If the job is too much for you, find a new one.

    Sorry Laughing to death here. Go in, work and leave with no stress, and be a salary ?

    Let me see my normal week as a salary employee was at 60 hours and some weeks of 70 and 80 were not uncommon.

    I would have faxes ( latter emails) waiting for me in my home when I woke up, be on the car phone ( latter cell phone) on the way to work, and the same also. Often even when I get home, I may get phone calls from work about issues.
