Find a movie by describing it?
There is a grumpy scientist and the movie begins showing him being interviewed by a woman. Then with several flashbacks the movie shows that this scientist had found a way to accelerate or decelerate time. I remember a scene where the young self of the main character throws a baseball and because of the decelaration of time it breaks a glass and destroys something. Pleaaaaase help me!

I'm trying to find a movie the story of which involves a painter who thinks he copied a painting from one that hung in a house in his past. When he goes to find the painting he finds that it's just a frame around a stain on the wall and he didn't really copy anything.
It was a telemovie. Story of a man who murdered his wife in their home, disposed of her body by wrapping it in a rug then he cleaned the house. After her parents begged police to investigate they sprayed the house with luminol which proved he had murdered his wife. Movie is about 20 years old.
