    Pressure tank -no water pressure
I have a Well Saver Hydropneumatic pump tank LPT365. We have very little water pressure. The gauge on the tank says 50psi, the tank says it takes 100 psi, although this seems like it should be easy to figure out, I don't want to do anything to harm the system. I increased the pressure in the tank to 75psi, but the tank make a "clicking" noise and I thought that was doing something to the tank so I decreased it back to 50. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Tank pressure should be set to 2# BELOW the cut in pressure. If you pump cuts on at 30#, for instance, then set the tank pressure to 28#. Do this with the system turned off and pressure on the system pressure gauge drained to zero by opening a low level faucet.

The pressure tank does not generate pressure. It simply stores water under pressure. The pump creates the pressure. In your case, if the gauge reads 50#, and it is working, then you should have good pressure in the house. Do you have a filter or water softener? If so, put it on bypass and see if your problem goes away.

Don't try adjusting system pressure at the tank. That is not what the air valve at the top is for.
