    Wood basements
We have built a wood basement in Canada code says we have 1 1/2 pipe going through footing to a foot of rock inside to channel water to sump we then lay cement floor over rock and footing 3 inches up on wood wall my question is should there be a way of draing plate of wood basement was thinking of putting a dimple product used for water proofing basement walls between cement floor and footing to allow any moisture in plate to drain to rock

Wouldn't that put the dimple product under a load? Is it designed to be used in that situation? Why not use the dimple material as shown in the manufacturer's sketch below, taking water down to the stone assuming code allows?
