There is really never a "closure" on a break up, there is fighting, there is one party trying to get even with or hurt the other.

In many ways if the one partner moves away where you are not in contract all the time you may get over it better and sooner after the initial recovery of the loss

I'm confused too. Have you talked to her at all? Did she say anything at all?

I'll admit, this is highly irregular but unfortunately it does happen and there's really nothing you can do other than to cut your losses, resign yourself to the fact that there will be no closure and move on with your life. Don't beat yourself up trying to figure out why ; it'll only make you all the more miserable and unhappy.
