I have a Weathermaker 8000 - 2 years ago the red light did not come on at all?
So a technition came in and we had to replace the electrical circit board. A few nights ago the head stopped coming on - and as far as I can tell the red light is not on - and the fuse does not help. Again it seems like the power is not reaching the circit board.

I know when you set the temp high on the thermostat and turn the fan to fan not auto and open the cabinet and hold the safety switch in... power should show up on the red light.

Again nothing? No power inside the unit. Is there some kind of reset? Or fuse where the power comes into the unit I can check?

I've had my carrier a/c heat unit for about 10 years.. . Good service, but it has recently been making a sqeaking/chirping/screeching sound when the fan is running in a/c mode. I reminds me of the sound a car makes when the fan belt is slipping. Any suggestions? Thanks, lankford3
