In an old home (1970) I ground the receptacles, do I need to ground the switch too.
The kitchen doesn't have GFCIs, do I need to changed. The house has a shower with a pum and the receptacle is inside the wall, is necesari to be accesable. The GFCI receptacle in the bathroom has a ground wire in the bolt , do I need to ground the metallic box.

I'm really curious now. Lets set aside the Geography issue and for a moment accept that Florida is part of the contiguous 48 States.

Why is the OP doing this work. Can you tell us whether you are getting ready for a safety inspection or have had an inspection and are now doing mandated changes?

Exactly how are you "Grounding" receptacles? Are the boxes that the receptacles and switches mounted to metal.

I don't know of any inspection that would require you to so this type of work without some type of serious renovation going on. Normally you would not be required to change code levels.

So I ask, what is going on?
