I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months. We knew that we wanted to marry and have kids. Towards the end we started fighting more and more often. Throughout the relationship my ego got big and I would flirt with other guys. He knew and always forgave me. He doesn't like me drinking when I go to parties. A couple weeks ago I drank too much, and something happened.Till this day it still angers him. A week ago he told me he wanted to take a break. I agreed. I called him this monday and he says he doesnt want to be with me anymore. We met that day and I couldnt help crying he cried with me at one point. I asked him if he was seeing anyone and he said she's just a friend. (yeah rite)He said that were breaking up because we fight to much & he doesnt want to hurt me. He said no matter what he'll still be my friend, and be there for me that this isnt goodby, & can't be with me rite now- HE'S CONFUSED but who knows in the future- its a possibility . He said to make myself the number one priority, fix my problems- drinking and all that. once i calmed myself down and acted like everything is ok, i saw he was surprised that I changed soo quickly. (his mom and i were talking). we ate and before i left i said. "i apologize for how i acted. and i said i love you, and i was gonna fight for us to be together. he just noded in agreement. he told me he loved me gave a kiss on the lips and i left. wednesday i found out he has a girlfriend.. . . . . What do u think??? i'm worried if i give him too much space then he'll forget me even faster since he has her by his side. & was he giving me false hopeI told him that i will change for myself, and I'm already doing so by going to counselors. I love him soo much My chest literally feels like its on fire thinking that we wont do all the things we told eachother we would.

I guess he was tired of it all, and decided to move on with someone else, so I suggest you get used to the idea he is gone and continue working on your own problems. Leave him and his family alone as you already know who side HIS mother is on. Leave him alone, he broke up so forget him.

What ever prob. You are facing as I am facing same but the diffrence is it's about your boyfriend
Here is about my girlfriend.she also smokes drinks clubs,n she was or is gng around wth some 1 else .but I still her and cn't leave her.but I tried to give her space now she is back.so try ths 1

It sounds like you crowded him to fast and after 8 months and talking about the rest of your lives together I sort of see his side. I think he isn't perfect here either though so I think the break was proably for the best and once you get your issues worked out you'll be a stronger person for yourself and other guys in the future.
