Tonight I replaced the Door Switch - easy enough - and the inside light works once again. But now the push button to start the dryer does not work. Do I need to replace the blower box fuse and thermal fuse? What I thought began as a quick fix has now become a mystery. Can You Help ? Model...
Kenmore electric dryer won't start; timer clicks but drum doesn't start turning

I used an ohmeter to check start button, thermal fuse, timer, thermostats and they all check out OK. I'm afraid it's the motor and don't know how to get to it to test with ohmeter.

My General Electric dryer drum glows inside ? I have a problem with it squeaking, when I pulled the door open quickly, I can see the back of the drum glowing, I am guessing this is not normal? Any ideas, ta !
