My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a while now. I have 2 boys from my ex but he has none of his own. I period is 7 days late and I took 2 prenagancy test today but it was negative. We brought 20 test from the dollar store all with expiration dates for 2014. We had incourse on all my fertile days 2-3 times and 7 times on my ovation date. I even held propped my lower body on a stack of pills to make sure enough sprem went in. He has been tried and I have been eating a lot. But that's all. What's wrong is he not about have kids? Could it be me? I'm so afraid that love alone won't keep him by my side!!

How long have you been married, and how long have you been trying to have a baby?

Trying to keep him is NOT a good reason to have a baby, by the way. It won't work -- if he doesn't want to stick around, a baby won't convince him to stay.

Are you two really married?

We have been married almost 2 yrs now. I not just trying to have a baby because he might leave I love him and we can afford 3rd child. It's just I know he really wants 1 of his own. We have been trying for 8 months. He doesn't want to go to a specialize because he feels he's fine and since I have 2 he feels it's not me either.

It can take couples as much as a year to conceive. It took me three years. The main thing is to have fun, but forget about getting pregnant. As long as you dwell on it and stress over it, your body tightens up and thinks conditions aren't right for a baby. Once you are enjoying life and love and are just living life, your body relaxes. That's why we hear stories about couples who finally adopt after trying so hard to have their own baby, finally relax, and then ka boom, she gets pregnant.

Also you are testing early, wait till 10 days at least, often 2 weeks late.

Then taking two a day won't help, take ONE, but take it first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up,
