    Is there a law against age dating in canada
    Like I'm 15 and she's 18 and we want to date :$ is there any law of prventing that :$

    The age of consent is 16 so there can be no sex between the two of you. What do your parents think of your dating an 18 year old?
    Are you a girl or boy? I'm wondering why an 18 year old girl wants to date a 15 year old boy.

    There are no dating ages, there is a age for sex, it is 16.

    But the parents of the minor 16 year old will have to know about the dating and approve.

    There are no laws anywhere that I know of that cover dating. Any laws on age gaps refer to sexual activity.

    However, at 15 you are under your parent's control. They have to approve any dating that you do. If they don't approve, then the 18 yr old could get in trouble for defying their instructions.

    At your ages a 3 year gap is pretty wide and I would question why an 18 yr old would have any interest in a 15 yr old.
