    My friends are teased?
I am 12 years old and most of my friends are teased. One of them has anger problems and the other one is horribly shy. Is there any way to make them better about these things, or do I need to stand up for them?

Is this happening at school? If so, teasing is a form of bullying and should be reported to a teacher, counselor, or an aide. They are all trained to help.

First your friends should be standing up for themselves, and all of you stand up together.

If not, you are no friend if you stand by and do nothing, you are as bad as the person doing the bullying if you could stop it and don't

So, have you talked to a counselor or teacher about this? And thank you, I care about my students, and other students, too!

I have spoken to my counselor. But they refuse to speak to her. Just consider me as one of your students! :)

Why are you leaving? And, by the way, teachers can help you even if they don't teach the class you are having trouble with.

I am leaving because why should I listen to people's advice? I should listen to myself

Only because you're not getting the answers you want to get. At 12 that's normal. You came here wanting to hear what you believe, wanting easy solutions to not always easy problems. As you get older you'll realize that what you want, or what you think, isn't always right, and that sometimes hearing the opposite of what you want to hear, is the only way to solve your problem.

But really, I'm not surprised that a child your age can't handle being on an adult site.

    Good luck to you. :)

Being teased in class [ 16 Answers ]

Hi, I just turned 13 for the past 2 years in my junior high school kids have teased me about my weight. I am skinny. I am so unhappy about it and it is not only because they tease me about it. My metabolism is somewhat fast. I am never hungry but I push myself to eat because I know and want to be...

Why am I always teased? [ 9 Answers ]

I'm 19, 5ft and approx 130lbs. I used to be a size 8 /10 (uk) and I am now a 12. I am also on the depo injection which meant I gained quite a lot of weight along with being depressed. Anyway, all my life I've been picked on for either my height, weight, general look, clothing, being ugly (face)...
