    Weight loss and graveyard shift!
I am wanting/needing to lose about 50 or so pounds but I work the graveyard shift, so my schedule is all messed up! I'm about 5' 4" and weight 185!! Ugh! I don't know when to eat or when I should workout. I also have a toddler at home and having the worst luck with babysitters and I don't want to pay someone to watch him for just 1 or 2 hours!
So working all night, trying to turn my schedule around on my days off, then going back to work, and having a toddler at home. I need advice on how I'm supposed to go work out or when to eat while working this shift! My body can't get used to it!
Help! Please? Anyone have any suggestions?

I can understand how hard it can be to find time or energy for that matter for weight loss when you work a graveyard shift... throw in a toddler and that just can't be easy... I found a book whilst I worked at a bookstore that actually really blew me away. It is called 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. You can healthily lose up to 30 lbs in 30 days if you follow his diet plan labelled as "The Slow Carb Diet" It gives you a strict list of foods you can eat (doesnt matter what you do to them so long as it isn't slathered in butter and grease) and what you can't (a shorter list)... Best part? There is a cheat day. For 6 days a week you use his list... on that 7th, eat whatever the heck you want and pretty much as much as you want (I don't recommend going insane with like 50 snickers and two whole pizzas kind of thing but really, you can have those and more... I would go for the carbs I wasn't allowed... like rolls or pastries or pasta... etc) then repeat the cycle. It is difficult for the 1st week to get used to being limited but beyond that it is healthy, you don't go hungry, and best of all is the cheat day :) If you can't afford the book (It retails at 40$ CAD w/ tax roughly) just take a note pad and write it down as he makes it easy to find the diet... or snap pics of the pages on your phone lol Really, he has gone through and done testing on himself for YEARS to see that all of it works and I can attest to losing 27 lbs myself. No exercise required but it also doesn't hurt as you get all the protein and nutrients you still need and the body wants... This diet can go on as long as you need to continue losing as well. Hope this helped! :) If you have any questions on my answer, let me know!
