    I messed up a friendship...
    Well I am dating my best friend right now... if you have ever seen any of my other posts you will know that I was struggling with knowing if I like him and getting over my ex and I really didn't want to mess up our relationship...

    Me and him have been dating for a week tomorrow and I know it hasn't been long but I just feel akward in the relationship... Today we had a half day and we had to wait for the bus so we were just walking outside and we were talking like bestfriends and I loved it! :) and then he grabbed my hand and it just didn't feel right... I don't know how to explain it... but then the buses came and he kissed me goodbye (this was the second time we have kissed) and the first time it ook me by surprise so it was good... but the kiss today was just blah... with my ex every kiss had sparks and I just felt happy inside and when I kiss my current boyfriend I don feel anything...

    I just don't know what to do... I don't want to break his heart because I know how that feels... please help me!

    I know I need to break up with him but I just feel sooo bad! He likes me sooo much and he said he has liked me for a really long time... idk what I should say to him...

    It's better to do it now. The longer you wait, the more hurt he'll be, and greater the chance of losing him as a friend. Just be honest.

    All right sweety pie, I been in your steps last year. If you just keep holding on and on and on to tell him, it will hurt more. I know you don't want that. It might hurt you both inside, understandable. But you do what's best for YOUR interest. To be happy you have to be happy with yourself. If you don't feel anything with him, you pretty much don't have a connection. Which isn't good for a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship, because then you just end up feeling miserable all the time after awhile. Just ask if you can be friends. :)

    I broke up with him today and he said that he isn't sure if he wants to be friends with me because he said it will hurt him if I move on with another guy:(

    Give him some time and space. He's hurt, and it will take time for him to get over that.

    If/when you do start dating someone else, don't expect him to be your biggest cheerleader. It will probably be painful and awkward for awhile. He'll distance himself. Just don't spend a lot of time talking to him about your new boy (good OR bad) and don't expect him to hang out with both of you.

    I am in the same spot you are sort of... I am friends with almost every ex of mine. I still talk to him. The guy I am with now can be a little controlling, he says if we break up he says our relationship is completely done. No talking at all. Hon if he truly loves you, he will come back. My ex, who hasn't talked to me in a year) might come back. The only thing that is keeping him away is his family. IF HE TRULY LOVES YOU HE WILL COME BACK

    We arso reat now:) We are best friends again and I love it! :) Thank you everybodyfor the advise:) It really helped me when my friends just wanted to see us together :P
