Quick Claim and add name to the deed
I want to file a quick claim to my property and add my sister's name on the deed since she is the one paying the mortgage for the last 10 years. What is the most quick way to do this. Can I do this with out hiring a lawyer.

Probably not... the term is QUIT CLAIM and you need the proper legal description and formatted according to how your recorder's office will record it.

Can you do it, well if you did not have to ask, you can. But the fact you have to ask means you don't know how. And if you do it wrong it can mess the entire thing up.

They do make do it yourself kits sold at many office supply stores and at a 1000 online web sites.

In many areas they have title companies that do this very well also.

And honestly the attorney is not costly and is the best way to go
