Is my friend guilty of debit card fraud?
First of all I apologize for the bad English I will try to make this easy to understand.

my friend gave her debit card and nip to some people that she knew would do something illegal with it, what is going to happen to her if she tells the police?

    Details:
Currently my friend is in a bad economic situation and her friend offered her to make easy money, the friend told her all she had to do was give her debit card info, nip code and full access to her online banking.

She promised her 700$ would be dropped into her account and that she wouldn't have to worry about anything.
My friend knew it was "a little bit illegal" but unfortunately she was really in need of money.

She never got her money and her bank account was frozen due to fraud she came to me for help, I told her she should learn from her mistake, move on and call the cops on the so called friend that used her.

Now my friend learned her lesson, and wants to make things right by going to the police but she is scared of what will happen to her, I don't know what to tell her so that's why I'm asking here.

My friend is 18, has no criminal record, lives in Quebec Canada

She may be guilty, but is really a victim of fraud. If she does not go to the police, report it, it could be worst for her.

Most likely these friends were never going to do anything but use her ID and steal her money

If her bank account was frozen due to fraud, she is already in trouble. Going to the police may help if she can prove who actually committed the fraud. But it won't hurt.
