    Potlight's Halogen 50 watt bulb life is too short.
    We had Halogen insulated potlights installed by an electriician who was recommended to us by our contractor. One fixture of about 15 potlights recessed into basement ceiling keeps blowing bulbs. The most recent one lasted less than a week. The other lights are all still going strong

    Is this a wiring problem?

Does anyone know how to order the original style ceramic base halogen bulb for these fans. It is a two wire loop ceramic base c6 style halogen bulb, a standard c6 seems to work OK but I was concerned the OE bulbs had the ceramic base for a reason.
