    My sink water is hot but my shower has cold water only
    My sink water is hot but my shower has cold water only. I am a very old woman and would like you to explain this mystery. I try to click it on but it does not react I do not mind not having a shower at all but will it damage the walls in time or is it better to let the cold water flow out only at times.

    I do not know how to go about it and nor do I understand valves etc I have a new pipe and shower head.
