Shower and sink cold water not working in upstairs. Toilet works. One handle shower
My cold water in shower and sink are not running. Have cold water in toilet though. One handle shower and two handle sink. Toilet works. Water pipe to those seems to be on in basement.
What is wrong? |

I've fought this battle before and I am not finding a question that matches mine exactly. A little over a month ago, the toilet started acting funny. Not flushing every time, the solids would go down but the paper would just swirl at the top. Eventually the water would drain back out of the tank....

In my shower I have a three handle system. When I turn on both hot and cold the turn the shower handle to divert the water to the head, the hot water comes out of the shower head but the cold water comes out of the water spout. How do I get the cold to go to the shower head?
I've a shower upstairs (loft converted into room), and it gives either very cold water or no water when we use kitchen/bathroom taps. When no other tap is used, it does seem to work OK. I don't know anything about plumbing. Help me how can I get rid of this problem. Thanks Uma
