    Controlling fixture with wall switch
My light fixture turns on and off with a wall switch or manually. Someone unplugged the fixture and when I plugged it back in I can't get the wall switch to turn it on. I put the fixture in the on position and I tried to turn the light off but it won't work. The bulb works and fixture is fine. Now what?

    There are a 2 possibilities.

    1. The outlet is wired with one receptacle hot and one controlled by switch. Move plug from light to other receptacle.

    2. The switch is bad. Replace switch.
