So, I am trying to e-file at Taxact.com I worked from jan 2006 in NJ, and got promoted and moved to philly on dec 1st 2006. My employer paid for my moving expenses upfront, but I think I spent about $300 more than he gave me. When I enter this difference in my e-file, my refund increases...

I am an Indian student. I have moving expenses associated with changing universities. Can I claim these moving expenses along with the 8200$(5000 + 3200)? I think moving expenses do not come under itemized deductions, so I thought I can claim it. Can you please clarify this?
