    White-rodgers 1f80-44 not turning on the furnace
    I Have a White-Rodgers 1f80-44 Thermostat, when increasing the temp. above the physical house temp. example the house temp is at 66 I increase the temp manually to 71, I do not hear the typical click that happens to activate the thermostat?? Therefore is my Thermostat not functioning?

    With electronic thermostats, sometimes you won't hear a click. The easiest way to check the thermostat is to remove the cover & install a small jumper wire between terminals R & W. This should bring on the furnace.
