    Can I train my dog to stop chasing cats?
    I have a 6 year old Borador (Border collie x lab) whenever he sees a cat he stands still and watches it I have to pull him out of the street before he will start walking again.

    Natural instinct to chase small, slinky things.. Dogs have chased cats for years.

    Teach your dog some commands... Such as leave it...

    I take it you just got this dog? Considering your last post was whether your mom can tolerate a long haired dog.

    No he is my nans dog I just say my dog because I love him so much and always walk him it's just easier.
