    Fluorescent Light Chain Problems
I have a chain of fluorescent lights that are controlled by two switches. Switch A has a black, red and two pink wires. Switch B has a white and two pink wires. Switch A has no current coming out of it. Switch B has current coming out of both of the pink wires. If I flip switch B, it appears to rotate the current in the pink wires reducing the amount of current in one wire over the other. However, current still comes out of both wires coming from switch B.

When I originally dismantled some of the lights to put in a wall, the black and red from switch A and the white from switch B was connected together. The Pink wires from both were connected together, but I had to snip them to get the lights down. When I connected the pink wires, the fuse blew.

Would this be because I simply connected the wrong pink wires together, or do you think I am missing something?

So switch A has four screws? And switch B has 3 screws? Describe them, all brass? One black? What?

Two switch control is two three way switches, are you sure there is not one more (total of three) switches for these lights?

Wire color irrelevant until you know what they are.
