My husband and I separated a couple of months ago. I have found a new apartment that I have put a deposit on and plan to move into within 2 weeks. During this process, my husband and I decide to give it another try. I don't know what to do about putting him on this new lease, if I should mention him, or not... because he has 1 misdemeanor drug possession charge from 6yrs ago. Sure, we were young and dumb but since then, we got married, had a child together, I have graduated college, and he is currently in college---so we have both grown up and matured. He is not the same person he was 6yrs ago when he was charged. I'm afraid to put him on this lease for fear of him being rejected for his criminal background. If we give our marriage another shot, I'm sure at some point we are going to live (or want to live) together. I couldn't imagine that he would have to 'hide' for the duration of the lease--1yr. I love this place, have put the deposit down, everything in place to move in, perfect community for my son, very affordable---what do I do about my husband?
