    Vendor for basement escape window?
I have old-school basement casement windows in an opening approx 32" wide and 20" tall. I have read about "escape windows" that remove completely rather than swing open, leaving the most opening possible.

All the "egress window" sites have windows 5.0 to 5.7 sf, which is obviously too big. Can anyone suggest a vendor for smaller windows?

Complying with code would require cutting the concrete and installing a significantly larger window, but we are not in a position to do that right now. We just want to make it possible to get out our basement in a calamity.

I suppose it may be just as expedient to modify my present windows and do it myself.

    Thanks!
