    Hi Michlski

That plastic nipple is factory made in there so it will be hard to get out, for sure!

Get a pipe wrench if needed and get a good bite on the nipple and turn it out... should come out with good leverage... ;)

The plastic shut-off valve that supplies water to my ice maker will not shut off. And there is no extra PVC pipe to cut off and install a new one. What can I do to fix this? I saw the remedy on this site to take the bonnet off and tighten the packing nut, but what if this cannot be done? Thanks!
