    Plumbing questions answered free
    Every time I flush the toilets, run the shower or run the washing machine, I hear a banging noise. I don't hear it when I run the water in the sinks. What could it be?

    This could very well be water hammer. Does the noise start when the water shuts off or when you turn it on? Let me know. Tom
