I very recently changed the light on my Hampton Bay Windward 54 inch ceiling fan and the light worked for about a week or two and then the light no longuer works. The fan itself has power and works but not the light.
I have tried to install a Hampton Bay ceiling fan with light kit. The home is an older one, with both supply wires in the ceiling being sheathed in black cloth. When I made the connections, the lights work, but the fan does not. Any ideas were I may have gone wrong?
